Hi dear readers, hope you had a great week ! Thank you so much for all your lovely comments, I feel so lucky to have you.

Today I’m gonna talk about music I’ve loved this month. I feel like this is a great idea to show you what I’m enjoying, etc. It’s still personal but not too much. Eheh.

Let’s begin shall we?
I love a lots of genre of music, the one thing I totally can’t listen at all is « french variety ». I don’t know why but I absolutely despise it. However, I love old french songs : like Françoise Hardy, Serge Gainsbourg, Jacques Brel, Juliette Gréco etc.

Ok, so apparently I’m always listening to the same artists if I trust my last.fm statistics.
Françoise Hardy is this kind of artist who makes me fell so Parisian, along with the An Education’s OST. It just feels so right walking along the Seine listening to it. My favourite Françoise Hardy song is « Le Temps de l’Amour« , it’s been stuck in my head for a long time now.
Ella Fitzgerald is amazing, her voice, her lyrics, everything about her is magical.
She & Him is one of my favourite band, they always cheer me up ! In the sun is my top one song in the spring !

I also made a playlist called « Paris selon Candy » (Paris according to Candy – Candy is my surname), it’s not finished yet.

01. You’ve Got Me Wrapped Around Your Little Finger – Beth Rowley
02. Le Temps de l’Amour – Françoise Hardy
03. Tout Me Ramene à Toi – Françoise Hardy
04. Je Veux Qu’il Revienne – Françoise Hardy
05. Sous le Ciel de Paris – Juliette Gréco
06. Sur les Quais du Vieux Paris – Juliette Gréco
07. A Sunday Kind of Love – Beth Rowley
08. Je t’aime moi non plus – Gainsbourg & Birkin
09. Elisa – Serge Gainsbourg
10. Ne Me Quitte Pas – Nina Simone
11. The Last Time I Saw Paris – Johnny Hodges
12. Never Let Me Go – Rachel Portman
13. La Javanaise – Madeleine Peyroux
14. Fly Me To The Moon – Julie London
15. Lipsticks – David Carbonara
16. J’ai Deux Amours – Madeleine Peyroux
17. La Chanson des Vieux Amants – Jacques Brel

I don’t know where I should share it with you, if you have any ideas let me know, and if you have requests for an article, tell me !

Have a nice sunny Sunday !

My notebooks

I’ve been thinking about doing this post for a long time now, notebooks are quite personal to me however I wanted to talk about them.

Notebooks

Moleskines

As you can see, I’ve a lot of them and a lot of them are moleskines.

So let’s begin, shall we?

The two lovely notebooks from Paperblanks were gift from Antonin’s mom. They are absolutely delightful, I use them for to-do lists. The paper is really thick and I love the fact that the cover is magnetized (it doesn’t make any sense, sorry). The ‘Lovely Notes’ behind were gift from friends for my 20th birthday ! I adore them ! One is for keeping tracks of my bills etc, an other is for recipes, an other is for planning my holidays etc, and the last one is still empty..

This one I bought for one euro at Gibert Jeune. I mainly bought it because I fell in love with the cute cover and because it was so cheap. I use it as a « music » notebook : I list albums I love, new discoveries and stuff. I also reviews records in it.. Maybe in ten years I’ll read it and think ‘oh lord how could I love this song before ?’ or stuff like that.

Two Moleskines. One is an old agenda, the other one is a diary, don’t have much to tell about them, except that everytime you open them you can clearly smell my perfume (Coco Mademoiselle) .. I don’t know why though.

Moleskines, again. These are the ones I carry all the time with me.
1- Lists of all my clients, I use it when I’m having meetings with them to write down useful details.
2- Quotes I like from tv shows, films, books, songs etc.
3- A list of all the nice shops, restaurants, salon de thé, etc I like in Paris.
4- My last acquisition, new diary. Lately I wrote down a lot of ideas I had for the blog.. :)
5- I couldn’t properly describe this one, you only thing you need to know is that what you can find in it : tickets, drawings, thoughts, books I want to read, films I want to watch.. mainly lists in fact.

Sorry if it was boring !
xx

Ten Things you don’t know (yet) about me.

I was thinking I could perhaps tell you ten things about me and in return you could tell me ten things about you in the comments ? That’d be great !

1- I used to make pixel art when I was younger. I even won a contest !
2- I talk to myself in English … and I even talk to my cats in English. – I’m french, but I’m sure everyone knows it !
3- I’m self conscious about my English accent.
4- I’ve been drinking coffee for almost ten years, I tried to quit but I can’t. Well, well, well.
5- The first English book I read was Harry Potter, I read it in three days and I was so proud of myself ! Since then, I only read in English.
6- I easily cry, it’s quite embarrassing. The other day I cried at the theatre because they were showing the ‘Titanic 3D’ trailer. boo.
7- I can read in a crowded place, I don’t care about the noise.
8- I’m always obsessed with something. See my last obsession.
9- I enjoy spending time alone, however it doesn’t mean I want to be alone all the time.
10- I used to be quite shy, but I’m working on that ;).

Thank you Margaux for this pretty picture. :)
